Treatment of personal data and Privacy
This Privacy Policy describes the management methods for the Internet site
owned by SAU S.p.A. (referred to below as “sautool.it”) with reference to the
treatment of the personal data
of users/visitors who consult
them.
sautool.it treats all personal data of the users/visitors of the
services offered with total respect for the Italian national regulations on the
subject of privacy and, in particular, the Legislative Decree 196/2003.
Where access to special services requires registration with communication of personal data, a specific information report is supplied at the time of subscription to the services.
The collection of the data which may be requested is an indispensable condition for accessing the services on the site. sautool.it retains the technical data regarding the connections (log) to allow the safeguard controls set down by the Law and also to improve the quality of the services offered and customise them according to the needs of the users/visitors.
The data acquired may also be used by sautool.it from time to time to send email messages containing publicity, promotional material, promotional initiatives or marketing information.
The personal data collected and retained in the suatool.it data bank are
processed by staff and/or collaborators as representatives of the company.
The data are not disclosed or
communicated to third parties, except for the
cases set down in the information report and/or by the Law and, in any case,
with the methods allowed by this.
In conformity with the current legal regulations on the subject, sautool.it registers the log files. These data do not allow the user to be identified without a series of elaborating and processing operations plus other data supplied by other providers. These operations may be carried out only on the request of Legal Authorities authorised by express legal regulations to prevent and/or repress crimes.
On the sautool.it site, cookies are used to allow quicker access to the site.
Cookies are information data, active during the connection, which are sent by
sautool.it to the user’s
computer for a quick identification. The user can
deactivate the cookies by modifying the browser set-up, however if they are
deactivated this may slow down or impede access to all
or a part of the
site.
If users/visitors send their personal data to access certain services or to send email requests, this means that sautool.it acquires the sender’s address and/or other personal data. These data are used exclusively to reply to the request or to supply the service and are communicated to third parties only when necessary to fulfil the requests of the users/visitors themselves.
Processing is carried out by computerised instruments for the time strictly
necessary to do the operations for which the data has been collected and, in any
case, complies with the current legal regulations on the subject.
Specific
security measures are adopted to avoid loss of data, illicit or incorrect use
and unauthorised access.
sautool.it declines responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information outside of its control.

who may use them for all the ends stated in the
specific report supplied with the subscription to the various services.
The
users/visitors may exercise the rights set down in Article 7 of the Legislative
Decree 196/03. As well, at any time, by exercising the right to withdraw from
all the subscribed services, they may ask for the total cancellation of all the
data supplied.
Art. 7 Right of access to personal data and other rights
1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence
or non-existence of personal data concerning him even if it is not yet recorded
and the notification of this in an
intelligible form.
2. The interested party has the right to obtain information about:
a) the origin of the personal data;
b) the ends and the methods of
processing;
c) the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with
the aid of electronic instruments;
d) the essential data regarding the data
controller, managers and the appointed representative according to article 5,
paragraph 2;
e) the subjects or the category of subjects to whom the personal
data may be disclosed or persons who may be informed in their capacity as
appointed representatives within the State territory as people in charge or
delegates;
3. The interested party has the right to obtain:
a) the up-dating, the
amendment or, when it is in his interests, the integration of data;
b) the
cancellation, the change to anonymous form or the blocking of data processed in
violation of the law, including those in which the conservation is not necessary
for the ends for which the data was collected or later processed;
c)
certification that the operations regarding letters a) and b) have been
communicated, also including their contents, of the persons to whom the data was
communicated or disclosed, except in the case where this proves to be impossible
or entails the use of means obviously disproportionate to the right
safeguarded.
4. The interested party has the right to object, either wholly or in part:
a) for legitimate reasons to the personal data processing regarding him, even
if the data is pertinent to the aims of the collection;
b) to the processing
of personal data regarding himself for the sending of publicity material for
direct selling or for carrying out market research or for marketing
communication.
